Hills for Skate Skiers 2023

Efficiently navigating hills can be one of the most challenging parts of skate skiing. Having to stop at the top of a hill because you are winded, or crashing on the way down because you couldn't control your speed are some of the most frustrating experiences. In this clinic we will practice the "low gear" skating techniques for climbing hills (diagonal skate and V1) as well as working on downhill techniques to control speed and turn. This clinic is for intermediate skiers who want to work on being more efficient in variable terrain. Our emphasis will be on efficiency, not speed.
